Principles of Creative Manifestation

By Amy Garcia

A few months ago, I attended a workshop with Doreen Virtue where she encouraged lightworkers to move into action.  It was her opinion that this was a year of manifestation and miracles and that it was time to tap into that energy to create our desires. I drew a card from her Messages from the Angels oracle cards and received "Abundance". This was during a time that I had joined a spiritual blessings circle and I felt that I was exactly where I needed to be in the divine flow. A gifted psychic had told me months before that I would meet a group of women who would form a support group for me. He also said that I would be working at a metaphysical center with people I had met through the study of A Course in Miracles. Since I have started my healing practice and began coordinating events for the Spiritual Awareness Advancement Institute in Corona, God has given me many more signposts along my journey.  I feel that I am exactly where I need to be and that I am stepping into a life of greater awareness and prosperity.

At our Healing Celebration on August 11, I led the workshop participants through a ceremony designed to bring in energy for healing our lives and realizing our dreams. I used nine principles for creative manifestation from Sonia Choquette's book, Creating Your Heart's Desires. The following is a synopsis of the information I compiled and shared with the group. I hope you will gain insights through this process that will move you forward on your path. If you are currently facing what appear to be obstacles, you can be assured that it is just a process of releasing what does not serve your highest good. Move through the experience, extend gratitude for the lesson and continue to tap into your infinite power as a spiritual being. I agree that it is time for all lightworkers to move into action, and that means you!

1: FOCUS ON YOUR DESIRE. Take time to bring desires into your awareness and write them down. Speak them aloud.

2: SEND CLEAR MESSAGES TO YOUR SUBCONSCIOUS MIND. MAKE SURE THEY ARE POSITIVE. Dr. Norman Vincent Peale, author of The Power of Positive Thinking, said that we can "make use of the great factor within [ourselves], the deep subconscious mind [which Jesus called] the kingdom of God within you...Positive thinking is just another term for faith...Your unconscious mind...[has a] power that turns wishes into realities when the wishes are strong enough."

3: DEEPLY IMAGINE REALIZING YOUR GOAL. DO IT IN DETAIL. Use all of your senses to create your desired outcome. What would it look and sound like, how would it taste, smell and feel? What emotions would come up when you realize your goal? Feel them now.

4: ESTABLISH ORDER IN YOUR PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT. When Sarah Ban Breathnach started writing the book Simple Abundance, she "worked on paring down and shedding the unnecessary from her life. In order to make these choices she had to decide what was important to her, and with each decision she was learning more and more about who she really was. This process will help you discover the person your really are, buried under all the excess – excess obligations, excess belongings, excess clutter. This really is a guided search within to excavate your authentic self while learning to live abundantly through living simply."

5: OPEN YOURSELF TO YOUR INTUITION. BECOME AWARE OF SYNCHRONICITY. As I coordinate events for this spiritual center, I listen to inner guidance and follow the inspirations I receive. I follow through with each task immediately because procrastination drains your energy with a focus on the future. I have been amazed by the synchronicities that have arisen and I have made contacts with many gifted lightworkers.

6: REIN IN IMPULSIVE BEHAVIOR. This is a difficult task for many of us, but it is very effective. If you are trying to get your finances in order, refrain from purchasing things you really don't need. If your goal is to be healthy and slender, steer clear of the junk foods and toxins. If you desire spiritual growth, create a disciplined practice that will focus you on your goal.

7: HONOR THE POWER OF YOUR WORDS. SAY WHAT YOU MEAN. In Don Miguel Ruiz's book, The Four Agreements, the first premise is that you must be impeccable with your word. He says, "The word is the most powerful tool we have as humans. Depending upon how it is used, the word can help us to become free or to enslave us. By practicing impeccability we can clear up communication problems, heal relationships, and create enough personal power to break our old limiting agreements."

8: PERSIST IN YOUR DREAM. I know a group of people who have persevered and made a dream a reality by manifesting a spiritual center.  They kept their focus on the spiritual work they were sent here to do. The universe responded by providing a gathering place where people can come to experience growth and create greater spiritual awareness.

9: SURRENDER TO DIVINE POWER AND ALLOW THE UNIVERSE TO DO THE REST. The book, The Power of Now, by Eckhart Tolle, emphasizes the importance of this last step. He says, "Non-surrender hardens your psychological form, the shell of the ego, and so creates a strong sense of separateness...Not only your psychological form, but also your physical form, your body, becomes hard and rigid through resistance. Tension arises in different parts of the body and the body contracts.

The free flow of life energy through the body, which is essential for its healthy functioning, is greatly restricted. Bodywork and certain forms of physical therapy can be helpful in restoring this flow, but unless you practice surrender in your everyday life, those things can only give temporary symptom relief since the cause – the resistance pattern – has not been dissolved.

There is something within you that remains unaffected by the transient circumstances that make up you life situation, and only through surrender do you have access to it. It is your life, your very Being, which exists eternally in the timeless realm of the present. Finding this life is [what Jesus called] 'the one thing that is needed'."
